Mel has worked in the health, social care, and voluntary sectors for over 30 years. Her interests are broad having worked in a variety of different care and support settings including support to older people, those with a learning disability, mental health, complex needs and palliative care. Mel’s passion is making a difference to the lives of those who need a helping hand during difficult times; leading and working in partnership with equally passionate people, creating the right culture to raise the voice of those who struggle to be heard, and empower individuals and communities to thrive.
Mel is a qualified social worker registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. She is responsible for all support and wellbeing services across our Revival, Glow and Concrete brands and is the designated safeguarding lead for the group.
