Arinola Adefila

Arinola Adefila brings a wealth of academic and voluntary sector experience. Currently a Professor of Social Policy and Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) at Buckingham New University, her work focuses on inequality, structural marginalisation and social justice. Through her research, Arinola leads on exploring inequalities in access to services and community wellbeing, with a particular focus on supporting individuals facing homelessness, domestic abuse and wider wellbeing challenges. Alongside her academic career, Arinola has dedicated over 25 years to voluntary work, particularly supporting vulnerable people, most recently in her current role as a Trustee at Dudley Lodge, a children’s charity.
