Organising a charity football match to raise money for safe accommodation services ⚽
Children and Young People's Domestic Abuse Practitioner, Kyle, organised our second annual charity football match this summer. From a small idea to a community event that brought people together and raised awareness (and money) for our safe accommodation services.
Pete and Louise worked together to support a customer 🏡
Our Move-On Service supported their first customer into their new home earlier this year. Not only did they secure the home, but Move-On Officers Pete and Louise also helped the customer to physically move their belongings and get settled into their new home.
Mandy is always there when you need her... even for an animal in need! 🐤
Neighbourhood Officer Mandy recently went the extra mile to rescue a baby pigeon that had found itself stuck on one of our resident's balconies. Mandy caught hold of the baby's wings and helped him fly back to his family.
Laurie is keeping customers engaged through meaningful activities 👩🏽🍳
Since joining us last year, Events and Activities Coordinator Laurie has made a huge and positive impact across our communities. Her work ensures that residents have access to meaningful events and activities that help them use their time productively and develop the skills they need to live independently. She listens to residents and then delivers activities that reflect their interests.
John always goes the extra mile 😃
Intensive Support Domestic Abuse Practitioner, John, recently supported a customer through the court process. She's dyslexic and John was there to support her and make sure she understood everything that was happening. His patience, listening skills and desire to always go above and beyond was recognised.
