Honeycomb Group appoints new Executive Director of Finance to support growth ambitions

We have appointed Greg van Enk-Bones as our new Executive Director of Finance. 

The move is part of Honeycomb Group's focus on enhancing financial strength to ensure sustained growth for the Group, that includes a 3,400 homes landlord, a home support provider, as well as services and accommodation across both the homelessness and domestic abuse sectors. 

Greg brings a wealth of experience and expertise in social housing finance, having served in similar roles at Christian Action Housing Association, Your Homes Newcastle, Karbon Housing Group, Connexus Housing Group and Peaks & Plains Housing Trust, amongst others. With a proven track record in financial strategy, improving financial controls and reporting, as well as risk management, and driving operational efficiency. He will play a crucial role in steering Honeycomb Group towards the growth objectives identified in the business’ new corporate plan, to be launched in March 2024.

The appointment of van Enk-Bones as Executive Finance Director, who is due to join the business in March 2024, comes after other recent senior appointments in the Group, including Mary Walker as Executive Director of Operations and Julie Guildford Smith as CEO
