Julie Guildford Smith, Chief Executive of Honeycomb Group, said: “We’re really excited that Mark will be stepping into the role of Audit and Risk Committee Chair. His breadth of experience, strategic mindset and people-focused leadership will be invaluable as we continue to ensure robust governance while staying true to our values and purpose.”
Mark has served as a Honeycomb Group Board Member for the past two years and has been an active member of both the Audit and Risk Committee and the Commercial Committee. As Chair of the ARC, he will lead the group in its role of providing oversight and assurance on our governance, risk management, and internal controls.
Chair of Audit and Risk Committee, Mark Selby, added: “It’s an honour to take on the role of Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee at Honeycomb Group. Over the last two years on the Board, and as a member of the ARC, I’ve seen first-hand the Group’s commitment to delivering for its customers and communities. I’m looking forward to taking on the role of Chair and providing a strong, balanced oversight that supports Honeycomb’s mission and long-term success.”
