Honeycomb Group has announced the appointment of David Stevenson as interim Director of Growth and Strategic Assets following a competitive interview process.

The appointment marks an exciting step forward in delivering the Group’s Thriving Futures corporate plan, which sets out bold ambitions to create more happy homes and thriving communities.

The Group has already made significant progress towards these goals, with three new schemes launched earlier this year in Stoke-on-Trent. Together, they provide 25 additional supported homes, offering specialist safe accommodation for domestic abuse survivors, care-experienced young people, and individuals rebuilding their lives after homelessness.

Julie Guildford Smith, Chief Executive of Honeycomb Group, said:

“Our Thriving Futures plan is all about creating more happy homes and ensuring our customers have places where they can truly thrive. We’re already seeing great progress through our recent developments, and David’s appointment is the next important step in realising our growth ambitions.

“His expertise, passion, and leadership will be invaluable as we continue to build strong, sustainable communities across the region.”

David Stevenson brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Honeycomb Group through his previous leadership roles, including Project Director at L&Q and Executive Director of Regeneration and Development at Dolphin Living.

Upon his appointment, David said: “Honeycomb Group is at an exciting stage of growth, and I’m thrilled to be joining the team in November.”

“Having worked across both large and small landlords, with extensive experience in the West Midlands, I understand what makes this region and its communities unique. I am passionate about delivering for customers and look forward to working alongside them to achieve Honeycomb’s ambitious plans."
