Honeycomb Group is strengthening its leadership team with the appointment of a new Head of Growth and Strategic Assets, as we enter an exciting new phase of growth and investment.
This month, Mark Feeney joined the Group as Head of Growth and Strategic Assets, bringing over 20 years' experience in asset management, housing growth, development and regeneration. Joining from STAR Housing, as former Senior Development Manager, Mark will play a key role in delivering our exciting growth strategy.
The appointment comes as we move into the growth phase of our corporate plan, Thriving Futures, building on continued financial strength and resilience. As we continue to invest in our people, homes and services, the new role will help ensure we have the right homes in the right places to meet the needs of current and future customers.
Leading the organisation's asset management strategy, Mark will oversee long-term investment in our housing portfolio, ensuring homes continue to be safe, well maintained, sustainable and fit for the future. The role will also drive opportunities for growth through acquisitions, regeneration projects and strategic partnerships, while supporting major investment programmes, including energy efficiency and retrofit works.
Julie Guildford-Smith, Chief Executive of Honeycomb Group, said: "We're delighted to welcome Mark to Honeycomb Group. This is a significant appointment for us as we continue to deliver our ambitious plans for growth while investing in the homes and communities we serve. As we look to the future, it's vital that we continue to provide high-quality, sustainable homes while identifying opportunities to grow in a way that reflects local need. Mark’s experience will strengthen our leadership team and help us deliver our long-term vision of having the right homes in the right places, creating lasting positive impact for our customers and communities."
Mark Feeney, Head of Growth and Strategic Assets, added: "I'm excited to be joining Honeycomb Group at such an important time in its journey. The organisation has a clear vision for the future and a genuine commitment to investing in both its homes and the people who live in them, enabling them to truly thrive. I'm looking forward to building on the excellent work already underway, ensuring our homes remain fit for the future, supporting our sustainability ambitions and identifying opportunities for growth that enable Honeycomb Group to make an even greater difference across the communities it serves."
