Honeycomb Group has opened the doors to a new dedicated Recovery Hub in Stoke-on-Trent, creating a permanent space where survivors of domestic abuse can recover, rebuild and reconnect.
The Recovery Hub is delivered by Glow, Honeycomb Group’s domestic abuse support provider, and provides specialist recovery support for women who have experienced domestic abuse.
First launched in 2022, the service has since supported hundreds of women across Staffordshire through accredited recovery programmes, counselling, wellbeing activities, volunteering opportunities and peer support. In the last 12 months alone, 227 women took part in the Hub’s core recovery programmes, including the Freedom Programme, Recovery Toolkit and You and Me, Mum.
Now, as the service continues to grow, the Recovery Hub has a permanent place to call home.

The new building brings the Recovery Hub team and its growing range of support together under one roof, creating a safe and welcoming space where customers can access specialist support, build trusted relationships and continue their recovery.

“Recovery from domestic abuse doesn’t end when someone leaves an abusive relationship. For many survivors, that is when a different journey begins, one focused on rebuilding confidence, healing from trauma and reconnecting with themselves and others.
“Having a dedicated home means we can create the safe and welcoming environment our customers deserve, while expanding the opportunities available to them. Every day we see women move from surviving to thriving, and this new building will help us support even more people to take those next steps towards a brighter future.”

The new building comes as the Recovery Hub continues to grow its work across Staffordshire, developing new partnerships, expanding counselling provision and creating more volunteering opportunities.
Most importantly, survivors’ voices will continue to be at the heart of how the service develops.
The team is now looking forward to welcoming customers into the new space and beginning an exciting new chapter for recovery support across Staffordshire.
