Regulatory recognition for Honeycomb Group

Regulator of Social Housing inspection update

Honeycomb Group has been rated fully compliant with a G1, V2, C2 rating following a recent inspection by the Regulator of Social Housing.

The inspection reviews how social landlords perform against three key areas, Governance, Financial Viability, and Consumer Standards, ensuring organisations are well-run, financially sound, and providing safe, high-quality homes and services for customers.

Honeycomb Group has achieved strong ratings across all areas. 

Previously a G2, the Group has been upgraded to a G1, the highest possible grade. Following significant growth, a G1 rating demonstrates continued development and confirms strong and effective governance. It shows Honeycomb Group is a well-run organisation committed to transparency and accountability.

Moreover, a V2 rating shows that we’re financially stable and managing our resources wisely. This grading reflects our careful investment in areas such as health and safety, as well as our proactive approach to preparing for future costs and legislation. A strong V2 rating also highlights the Group’s capacity for growth and provides a solid foundation for future aspirations.

Finally, Honeycomb was awarded C2 for consumer standards, confirming that we’re compliant and making positive progress in how we deliver services to our customers. The Regulator recognised the improvements we’ve made - including changing our repairs provider and involving customers closely in key decisions. While these changes are already having a positive impact, we will continue monitoring and building on this progress.
