We have embarked on a brand-new chapter with the launch of our innovative, customer-focused Honeycomb Group five-year corporate plan, Thriving Futures.
Launched yesterday (9 July) at an exclusive event for colleagues, customers, board members and volunteers, the plan sets our direction for the next five years. Honeycomb Group Chief Executive Julie Guildford Smith and Chair Andy Spencer opened the event with a moving film which highlighted our social purpose and the incredible support provided by our teams.

Thriving Futures has been informed by the lived experience and specialist insight of our teams and those who use our services. With a focus on five key areas – thriving homes, thriving customers, thriving communities, thriving business and a thriving culture – it’s the launch pad for Honeycomb Group to become the leading provider of support services and affordable homes within the region by 2029.
Chief Executive, Julie Guildford Smith, said: “It was fantastic to unveil Thriving Futures, our five-year corporate plan, to Honeycomb Group colleagues and customers at our launch event yesterday.
“At its core, the plan acts as a framework to help us remember our purpose and why we’re here, as well as mapping out our future goals and how we’ll get there.
“It’s called Thriving Futures because that’s exactly what it will help us to achieve. We want to build a better, more equal society in which everyone can thrive. Whether that’s accessing support services to help you overcome challenges, living in a home you’re proud of, or coming to a job where you feel valued each and every day.
“We are absolutely committed to the work that we do and the areas in which we operate. We want to create vibrant communities and have a positive impact on the people that live there, providing services that enhance their lives and help them to thrive.
“Thriving Futures is also about our colleagues, the people who work hard to help us deliver our vital services. We want to bring them together and really help them thrive in their work, making sure they feel connected to a central Group that supports and champions them every single day.
“It’s an exciting time for us as an organisation and we couldn’t be prouder to reveal our five-year plans. We’ve been on a journey of improving, rebuilding and now we’re truly on our way to thriving.”
